For New Media for Non Profits

NMNP founders F.R. "Fritz" Nordengren and Donald R. Winslow bring a unique and energetic resource to the non profit world. Their varied backgrounds include journalism and advertising, corporate and missionary assignments, and daily work inside the White House as well as in villages without running water.

Combining their similar interests and diverse backgrounds, the two established NMNP. Together, and with their associates, they create, facilitate, and manage digital change for both organizations and individuals in the non profit environment, those who seek to make the best possible use of emerging digital technologies for the best causes.

F.R. "Fritz" Nordengren is an Internet consultant and multimedia producer living in Des Moines, Iowa. His work is a four time winner of USA Today's "Hot Site of the Day" award. He has twice been named one of the "Top 100 Producers" by AV Video/Multimedia Producer magazine, in 1998 and 2000. He writes, produces and creates interactive media and focused topic websites.

Nordengren enjoys producing documentary work centering around medical and international relief agencies. His recent projects include work in eight countries including Armenia, India, Venezuela and Vietnam. Fritz is also the producer of "Behind the Viewfinder - A Year in the Life of Photojournalism," the award winning web documentary which chronicled the work and lives of a dozen news photographers though 365 journals written by the photojournalists.

Donald R. Winslow has been a photojournalist, photography editor, and writer for more than two decades. He has been a senior photographer at REUTERS in Washington, D.C., covering the White House and Capitol Hill and major league sports and Olympics, and has worked for The Palm Beach Post, The Pittsburgh Press, The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, The Republic in Columbus, Indiana, and The Wabash Plain Dealer in Wabash, Indiana.

Drawn to the Internet when working as a technologist and team leader for "24 Hours In Cyberspace," Winslow remained in California where he is currently the Media Archive Manager for CNET: The Computer Network. He joined CNET in 1996 as the Director of Photography for CNET Online.
